Board of Trustees Meeting
July 15, 2025
Regular Meeting
- Call to Order: At 7:04 pm, the meeting was called to order by Mary R. Roll call was taken and present were Mary Jobe, vice president, Annie Fraizer, secretary, and board members Michelle Fidler, Travis Dean, and Julie Rhea. Paul Sipes was absent. Nicole Meyers, fiscal officer, was present. Jennifer Carrick, director, was present.
Minutes:
2.1 Time was provided to review special meeting minutes. Motioned to accept minutes by Mary J, seconded by Michelle. All present voted in favor.
2.2 Time was provided to review regular meeting minutes. Motioned to accept minutes by Julie, seconded by Travis. All present voted in favor.
- Director's Report: Time was provided to review the report.
Fiscal Officer's Report:
4.1 Monthly Reconciliation presented. Nicole pointed out there was a typo in the PLF for 2026 in the fiscal report. A motion was made by Mary J to accept the 2026 tax budget, Michelle seconded.
- Old Business: There are two open positions at the library to replace staff members who have recently left. A post will be made on Indeed for a library assistant and a children's programs employee. Hourly rate will reflect the position a candidate is hired for.
- New Business: The library's recently placed food box will have an initial donation of items made by the Johnsville Association.
Consent Resolutions:
7.1 Small Donations taken at the register in the amount of $14.15. Motion made to accept this by Julie first and Mary J second.
