Perry Cook Memorial Public Library
Special Session - 2025 Organizational Meeting
December 10, 2024
Meeting was called to order by Mary at 7:00 pm. Roll call was taken and present were Mary J, vice president, Annie Fraizer, secretary, and board members Michelle Fidler, Travis Dean, and Julie Rhea. Paul Sipes was absent. Nichole Meyers, fiscal officer, was present. Jennifer Gliebe, director, was present.
Organizational meeting:
- Julie motioned to elect the following board members into the following position and Travis seconded.
- Mary R. president
- Mary J. vice president
- Annie secretary
- Discussion took place about the fiscal officer position. A motion was made by Mary R to hire Nichole Meyers as fiscal officer with an $80,000 bond and Michelle seconded.
- A Calendar of Meetings was proposed. Each meeting is set for the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. The proposed holiday calendar was presented with the following dates for the library to be closed: 01/01/2025, 05/26/2025, 07/04/2025, 09/01/2025, 11/27/2025, and 12/25/2025. 11/26/2025, 12/24/2025, and 12/31/2025 the facility will close at 3:00 pm. Mary J motioned to accept the dates as presented, Julie seconded.
- Committee appointments by the president: all remain the same as 2024.
