5) Old Business

Down payment made to Schwartz to begin the construction on the building in the lot next to the library. An electrician was consulted about running electric from the library building rather than the street. They indicated that we can do this. It's planned that on March 17 the outside ramp should be worked on for accessibility. Jen is working on a grant for this ramp and front door accessibility but even if the library does not receive these funds, there is already money set aside for this in the budget.

Prosecutor Wick said if it is a community based board, staff is allowed to use discretion for judgment calls if the material is of interest and value to the community. Motion made to approve acceptance of bulletin board policy by Julie and seconded by Travis.

Public meeting space policy was reviewed. Discussion included adding a paragraph that if the person who booked the room has an event on a weekend, they are responsible for snow removal. Motion to approve updated policy by Paul, seconded by Travis.

Looking ahead, the Fire Department is hosting an Easter hunt with prizes April 19th. Johnsville block party is scheduled for 9/20/2025.
