Perry Cook's Summer Reading Program sign up begins Monday, June 8 at the library.
The theme this year is "Unearth a Story." Dinosaurs, paleontology, archeology, and discovering hidden histories are the focus, encouraging readers of all ages to dig into books, reading, and activities.
Summer Reading is open to all ages. You'll complete two of the three activities on your weekly logs to earn rewards and entries into our prize drawings. Complete all six weeks to earn your ticket to our Potting & Painting event in August.
We'll have six weeks of Wednesday programs open to all ages, beginning June 17, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.
The Summer Reading completion date to earn weekly rewards, entries for our prize drawings, and a ticket to the tie-dye event will be Saturday, August 1, 2026. We will draw for prizes after this date and notify winners by phone.
