Early Learning Programs

Perry Cook offers four Early Learning Programs for children. Programs include First Steps, Tinker Tots, Little Learners, and A2Z.

Programming for the 2020-2021 year is scheduled to begin the week of October 5, pushed back from the original start date of September 14. We are still working out safety procedures and gathering the necessary equipment to keep everyone healthy. We hope to host a socially distanced Open House the week of September 28th.

First Steps lays the foundation for Early Literacy and is the first class in the series. This program is for children up to 24 months of age.

Tinker Tots is the second stepping stone in our Early Literacy childhood series. This program is for children who are 2-3 years of age (must be 2 by September, 2020 and no older than 3 by May, 2021).

Little Learners is the third program in the series and was formerly called "Kid-Time Library Club." Children must be 3 by August, 2020 and no older than 5 by May, 2021.

A2Z is the final stepping stone in the series. This is our Kindergarten readiness program. Your child must be eligible for Kindergarten in Fall, 2021 to register for this program.

A brief introductory letter and registration form for each program can be found in the attachments. Please call the library at 419-362-7181 to inquire about registration for these programs, as we are not taking registrations online.
